2017 Varsity Cross Country
Browning’s varsity cross country team took a solid third place at the NYCAL Cross Country Championships at Van Cortland Park. Once again Ryan Eagan, the league’s best runner this season, was at his finest, finishing first in a competitive field. His teammates finished further back in the race, but all embodied the best of what Browning boys bring to our athletic contests: sportsmanship, engagement and, as always, “grytte.” These past two years, we enjoyed positive individual results; this season, thanks to the hard work and dedication of all our runners, a promising and cohesive team was born.
